Face the Sun

One of my favorite shots from last weekend's shoot with Anil. To see more, check out his blog.

For those unfamiliar with what I'm wearing: This is a sari traditionally worn by women in India. I'm holding the train of the sari. Typically it is draped over and around the left shoulder. The train is called pallu. Plus I'm wearing this without a choli or a blouse. Sacrilege all over! This is one of my favorite shots too: the angularity of the arms with the curved torso, the light, the organic flow and brilliant colors of the fabric. Basically this is a shot of a half-naked man in a sari. The Hindu gods will surely send me and Andy to the darkest of hell for that!
