The Parade

Shortly after I stumbled upon the spontaneous festivities at the corner of Broadway & John, shortly after Obama was projected by the networks as our next president, the group just suddenly started marching south.

I tried to stay out in front, shooting away.

As we crested the hill at Broadway and Pine Street, I looked down Broadway and saw an even larger street party collected a block away, at Broadway and Pike.

The rest of the parade noticed as well, and everyone, still screaming with joy, ran ran ran down to meet them...

After the rally, I went with my friend Reg to the Pike Market, and camera in hand, I just couldn't stop shooting...

Supporters

Spent Friday preparing signs, and Saturday morning and afternoon shooting & marching in Seattle's March and Rallies for Marriage Equality, party of JoinTheImpact, the nationwide protest against California's Proposition 8.
