It's All Relative(s)

Last weekend I returned to the place I was born and raised, Lewiston, Idaho, for my sister's fiftieth (!) wedding anniversary. Extended family from all over celebrated togtether, and I got to meet many new additions to the family in the years since I had last made it home.

R. Edward Jack

In 2003 and 2007, I had the fortunate opportunity to be on the other side of the camera when R. Edward Jack asked me to pose for him and be part of what became "The Seattle Project," his beautiful series of portraits of a variety of men, old and young, gay and straight. During the month of May, photos from this project will be on display at the new larger facility of Seattle's great organization, GayCity.

(Full disclosure--two of the photos in the show are of me.)

The Writing On The Wall

Out and about in Seattle.
Some of the graffiti happened during the May Day protests.

"Zebra #16 (Self-Portrait)"

"Two-Thirds of a Three-Way"

I was pleased to learn today that of my five submissions, these two photographs have been accepted for display in the 2013 Seattle Erotic Art Festival in June.
